English 395: Digital Humanities Playground is the first DH course to be offered at the University of Northern Colorado. In designing this first course, Dr. Sarah Cornish has been inspired by a number of scholars and teachers in the DH community and is grateful for the open, collaborative, and generous ethos of DH as a practice. We hope this course blog will showcase our processes of learning about and thinking through many of the debates and pressing questions of digital scholarship and pedagogy and hope visitors will follow our journey throughout the semester here and on Twitter using the hashtags #uncodh and #395dh.

Special thanks to Jentery Sayers at the University of Victoria whose Intro to Digital Humanities courses have greatly influenced the structure of this one and to Jacqueline Wernimont of Arizona State University for suggesting his approach.
